Ask Yourself!

Ask yourself ……. My lad,
Answer yourself ……..
Don’t you have dreams of your own?
Haven’t you yet them be sown?
Don’t try to install the book in your mind,
But try to animate the secrete its behind,
Explanation for your failure isn’t expected,
Aspiration towards success is to be respected.
Can’t you imagine your future days?
Won’t you spread glow with your rays?
Don’t search for the readymade things,
Let the thing be merely made ready.
You have been gifted with a pair of hefty wings,
Let your fly in the sky of destiny be steady.
Have your individual goals to reach,
Don’t treat them as boats halted at beach.
Ask yourself ……. My lad
Answer yourself.

Garden of Happiness

There is a garden,
In the hands of Orden
There are beautiful flowers….
So, I like to spend so many hours
It is greenish…..
Giving us happiness.
There are delicate blossoms,
So, we do not need any perfumes.
It gives us shadow,
And there are meadows.
Like Orden….
Everywhere we ought to make a garden.

Our Beautiful House

Once, ours was a beautiful house,
We had no rivalry like a cat and mouse.
Siblings, their wives and kids couldn’t have stayed longer,
Departed and settled somewhere, but couldn’t be stronger.
Secret visits often, to their previous residence,
Knew it was the richest with a strong fence.
Felt their present state was filthy,
While ours had been very wealthy.
Started their arrivals to make friends first,
Carted our riches to reach their places next.
Replaced many of our properties with the fake ones,
Commented our lives threatening us as nuns.
Installed new images in our shelter.
Forced by us to return their place,
They started to think in their own pace.
Decided every of their methods injected,
Left our house suddenly, still dejected.
As adapting to the new is our weakness,
Easily affected by their worthless fakeness.
Though, many of us live forgetting the past ages.
Some of us are here to awake and aware them like sages.

Mahatma Gandhi My Inspiration

Mahatma Gandhi is my role model and inspiration. He is my guiding light and has shown me the right path to choose in life.

He included everyone in his movements like “Jan aandolan satyagraha” and fought for independence against the British regime. His intelligence is seen in all his nonviolent movements. He was humble enough to leave his job abroad for his mother. He was courageous and confident in fighting the Britishers. He was truly a mahatma as he fought for equality among individuals without any discrimination. Mahatma Gandhi was thus a leader and not a ruler. Apart from this he inspired me in many other ways that help me shine in life. Inspiration has created many great personalities. It is a method through which people tend to realize their meaning of life and success.

Here is a short poem on how Mahatma Gandhi has inspired me:

Inspiration leads to aspiration,
Like my true life creation,
From Bapu,
It catches our attention.
To succeed in our destination,
Which has truly happened in my life by a meaningful mission,
of a Bapu.

The Great Soul

Maahatm Gandhi has been considered as the "father of the nation". In my opinion he could be considered as "a role model" for the entire universe, as he is the one who had openly declared that his life itself was his message.

To begin with, normally people of great repute tend to preach a lot but when it comes to practice they fail. Bapuji in his life time never tried to isolate him self from the common man with the feeling that he was above them. He considered himself as any other common man and tried to spread the message initially by practicing it by self. Despite all the virtues he had, he an ordinary life adhering to the noble concepts of "Satya, Dharma and Ahimsa".

Though he was prompted by his colleagues to resort to violence, he never sulked from his path of righteousness. Gandhiji tried to inspire the people but never tried to impose his thoughts on them. Even when great leaders like Netaji differed in their philosophy, Bapuji tried to elaborate the practicability of "Ahimsa" that non violence was the only scope to win over the British.

Despite all the attempts by the British to lure him by offering power, riches and other things he never deviated from the path of righteousness. Even though there were he never looked for his own safety and security. Even the moment when he was brutally attacked by Nathuram Vinayak Godse, he asked his followers to forgive Nathuram such is the greatness of "The great soul”.

Time Lost can never be Regained

Time is our most precious commodity which is the only thing that we can never get back. It is priceless and always keeps changing. It never stops. Neither money nor position can buy it. Nothing on earth can conquer it. It doesn’t wait for anyone. It is what we want most, but what we use misuse. It is extremely important in our life; it helps us structure our daily lives and activities, so that we can live a more organized and productive life. We never see it and yet it is all around us.

Time is a great teacher which teaches the value of life. The more we value our time, the more value it will bring. Great men and women use their every moments most profitably and economically. It is through this method that they have invented great things and left their foot prints on the sands of time.

Time is said to be a wise counselor. Passage of time helps every individual to grow. This growth gives experience. Experience helps in decision making. Time reminds us to act wisely but time flies and never returns. If you waste time it wastes you. What we do today determines where we will stand tomorrow and the person who makes the best use of time today gets the best of life in the future.

Time has created kings as well as beggars. Riches turn into rags and rags to riches over a matter of time. So we should never postpone doing good and important things. It is said that the wisest make use of their time fruitfully. Whereas those who do not know the value of time waste it. People tend to take time for granted, and then begin to realize its value and importance only when there is hardly any left of it. So let’s realize the importance of time and never waste it so that we attain the zenith of our life.
